Battlefront Miniatures are pleased and excited to announce the inaugural Battlefront Open Event.

We really want to do something for the community both old and new alike. Therefore we will be holding a weekend event. We would love it for all the new players to get a chance to meet up for some friendly games and meet other like minded players. We also want to encourage existing players to come along and help the newer ones and grow Flames of War in the UK.

To make it easier for new players we have decided to run this as two separate days. Mid War on the Saturday and Late War on the Sunday to make it easier for new players in Late War we have decided to only allow lists from the new Armies of Late War book. We know that may disappoint some existing players but we really want to make it easy for the new players during their first experience so we hope for your understanding and support.

There will be loads of prizes and a few surprises as well.

This event will be two one day events a Mid War Event on Saturday 24th March using any army from the following books:

Desert Rats
Afrika Korps
Fighting First
Avanti

Points for Mid War will be 100 points and there will be 3 games across the day

Sunday 25th will be a Late War event and 1780 points and again will be 3 games.

The cost of this event will be £12.50 including a buffet lunch on both days.

I hope you’re doing well!
We wanted to let you know that we are handing the management and organisation of the Battlefront official competitions back to Battlefront in the UK.
It’s been so great getting to run these competitions on behalf of Battlefront and seeing so many players come together from all over the UK and Europe, with some from even further afield. We have got to know you and hopefully introduced you all to some new friends. We are sure you will be as excited as we are to see what’s next for such a great and event. It has been great working alongside Battlefront and as we draw a close on this chapter, we are confident that the next GT will be even better than the last.
Thank you all for everything and we will still be running the Sturm events from Boards and Swords Hobbies in Derby for the foreseeable future. And, thanks again for being a part of making our time at the UK GT’s such a great one!
